3. Duarsini

Located around 13 km from Bundwan town in Purulia district, Duarsini has dense forests. Various tribal villages of tribes like Santhal, Munda, Shabaradh and Kheriya are also found here. The forests are filled with wild animals like Bear, wild Pigs, Hyena, wolves and elephants. It is perfect for wildlife safari.

Places of Interest – Bhalo Hills, 3 km from Duarsini has remnants of a civilization. There are few temples Haunuman, Smasan kail and Ganga Mandir are situated here.

A small village just 35 km away from Kolkata, Sundargram in Rajendrapur is nothing less than a dream village. The villagers lead a very simple life here. At Sundargram there is no swimming pool, but there are beautiful ponds where you can catch fishes. Your mode of entertainment would be the story tellers and the folk singers.
